3.2 Controller Pairing and Gyroscope Calibration

Before each flight, the controller and airplane must be paired and the gyroscope calibrated for stable operation.

  1. Place the RC airplane on a flat, horizontal surface.
  2. Turn on the power switch on the RC airplane. The LED lights will begin to flash.
  3. Turn on the power switch on your chosen remote control (either standard or gesture controller).
  4. For the gesture controller, long press the frequency pairing button (usually the power button) until the lights on the controller and airplane become solid, indicating successful pairing.
  5. Perform gyroscope calibration: Ensure the airplane is still on a horizontal surface. On the gesture controller, short press the Gyroscope Calibration button (refer to controller diagram in the video for exact location). The airplane's lights will flash rapidly and then become solid, indicating successful calibration.
  6. Short press the unlock button on the gesture controller to prepare for flight.

The airplane is equipped with a low battery warning system. When the battery level is low, the LED lights on the airplane will flash rapidly, indicating that it's time to land and recharge the battery. This ensures safe operation and prevents unexpected power loss during flight.
