Setting up your Hyperkin Hyper Strummer is quick and easy, as it utilizes your existing Wii Remote for power and wireless connectivity.

Ensure your Wii Remote (not included) has working batteries.
Locate the Wii Remote insert slot on the back of the Hyper Strummer guitar controller.
Carefully slide your Wii Remote into the insert slot until it is securely seated. The guitar will draw power directly from the Wii Remote.
Connect the Nunchuk port of the Wii Remote to the corresponding port on the guitar controller, if applicable for your game or setup.
Power on your Wii console and launch your desired Guitar Hero or Rock Band game.
The Hyper Strummer should automatically connect via the Wii Remote. If not, follow the standard Wii Remote syncing procedure (press the SYNC button on the Wii console and then on the Wii Remote inside the guitar).
