6. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji
6.1. OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) Test
The OTDR function is used to characterize optical fibers. It operates at wavelengths 1310nm/1550nm with a dynamic range of 26dB/24dB. This model cannot test live fiber.
Hali ya Kuweka Haraka:
Allows for rapid configuration of wavelength, distance range, pulse width, and measurement duration for quick tests.
Parameters Set Mode:
For professional users, this mode enables detailed adjustment of wavelength, distance range, pulse width, measurement mode, IOR (Index of Refraction), non-reflection threshold, end threshold, and other parameters to achieve more precise curve results.

Event Map & Data Storage:
Visualize fiber optic link inspection results. Information such as fiber length, connector type, fusion points, or breakpoints are presented graphically. Test curves can be saved, zoomed, and moved for detailed analysis. Event Blind Zone is less than 1.6m, and Attenuation Blind Zone is less than 8m. The device supports creating test reports in PDF/EXCEL format, including curve trajectory graphs, parameter settings, fiber event information, and fiber link details.
- Tukio la Awali: Sehemu ya kuanzia ya kiungo.
- Tukio la Tafakari: Connector or reflection event shown as a peak.
- Tukio lisilo la kuakisi: Sehemu ya kuunganisha au kupinda kwa nyuzi macho, inayoonyeshwa kama kushuka kwa nguvu ya macho.
- Maliza Tukio: The terminal of the fiber, a normal end with a reflection peak.
- End Event (Optical Fiber Bending): An end with non-reflection peak indicates a fracture.

6.2. OPM (Optical Power Meter)
The OPM measures optical power linearly or non-linearly for direct display or relative measurement of fiber link loss. Calibrated wavelengths include 850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625nm.

6.3. VFL (Visual Fault Locator)
The VFL is used to determine fiber continuity and locate faults. It operates at a 650nm wavelength with a maximum test range of 8 KM.

6.4. LS (Light Source)
The Light Source connects to the OTDR/LS port and is used for engineering and maintenance of optical fiber communication and CATV, fiber parameter setting, and optical component research. Modes include CW/270 Hz/330 Hz/1 kHz/2 kHz.

6.8. Cable Length Test
Measures the breakpoint position of open-circuit BNC cables, RJ45 network cables, and RJ11 cables. The maximum test length is 3000 meters. Note: The short-circuit status will not display the cable length. One end of the cable should be connected to the OTDR tester, and the other end should not be connected to other devices.

6.9. Network Test Tools
The MOT-51 includes several network testing utilities:
- IP Address Scan: Quickly finds the IP addresses of connected IP cameras or other network devices. Supports MAC address and camera manufacturer identification.
- Mtihani wa PING: A conventional network debugging tool to verify if a connected IP camera or network device's Ethernet port is functioning correctly and if the IP address is valid. Connect a network cable to the LAN port and enable the PING tool.
- LLDP (Link Layer Discovery Protocol): Detects capabilities, management IP addresses, device info, port info, and other information of switches. Requires the switch to support the LLDP protocol.
- Mwangaza wa bandari: Connect a network cable to the OTDR tester's "LAN" port. If the OTDR tester and PoE switch are connected, the LAN port of the PoE switch will flash, aiding in quickly locating the connected Ethernet cable.
- PPPOE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet): Used to detect whether broadband PPPOE dialing is normal.
- FTP File Usimamizi: Allows copying and editing files from the SD card without using an SD card reader. Start the FTP service and enter the tester's FTP address in the computer's address bar.
