3. Kuweka
3.1 Upepo wa Awali
Your Citizen Tsuyosa watch is equipped with an automatic mechanical movement. This means it is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped, it may require an initial manual wind to start. To do this, gently rotate the crown clockwise several times while it is in the normal (pushed-in) position. Alternatively, wearing the watch for a few hours will also initiate the winding process.
3.2 Kuweka Wakati na Tarehe
- Vuta taji: Gently pull the crown out to the first click position to set the date, or to the second click position to set the time.
- Weka Tarehe: In the first click position, rotate the crown to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
- Weka Muda: In the second click position, rotate the crown to move the hands. To ensure accuracy, set the time a few minutes ahead and then push the crown back in when a time signal (e.g., from a radio or phone) reaches the desired time.
- Sukuma taji: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into its normal position to engage the movement and ensure water resistance.

4. Kuendesha Saa Yako
4.1 Mwendo otomatiki
The Caliber 8210 automatic movement in your Tsuyosa watch is self-winding. It harnesses the kinetic energy generated by your daily activities to power the watch. Consistent wear ensures continuous operation.
4.2 Hifadhi ya Umeme
When fully wound, your watch has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. If the watch is not worn for an extended period (more than 42 hours), it will stop. Simply wear the watch again or manually wind it to restart operation.
4.3 Upinzani wa Maji
This watch is water-resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM). This rating means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, and short periods of recreational swimming. It is not recommended for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

5.2 Hifadhi
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. The original watch box is ideal for storage.
5.3 Huduma ya Kitaalamu
For optimal performance and longevity, it is recommended to have your automatic watch serviced by an authorized Citizen service center every 3-5 years. This includes checking the movement, seals, and overall condition.

6. Utatuzi wa shida
6.1 Saa Imesimama
If your automatic watch has stopped, it is likely due to insufficient power reserve. This occurs when the watch has not been worn or moved enough to keep the mainspring wound. To restart:
- Wear the watch: Wear the watch for several hours to allow the automatic rotor to wind the mainspring.
- Upepo wa Mwongozo: Gently rotate the crown clockwise while it is in the normal (pushed-in) position for about 30-40 turns. This will provide enough power to start the watch.
6.2 Date Changes at Noon
If the date on your watch changes around noon instead of midnight, the AM/PM setting is incorrect. To correct this, pull the crown out to the second click position (time setting) and advance the hour hand by 12 hours. Then, reset the correct time and date.
