4. Kuweka na Kuweka
The Defender-CCW is designed for straightforward installation on compatible firearms. Ensure your firearm is unloaded and safe before beginning any installation procedures.
- Tayarisha Silaha: Ensure the firearm is completely unloaded and the chamber is clear. Always follow your firearm manufacturer's safety guidelines.
- Identify Footprint: The Defender-CCW is compatible with Shield RMS and Shield RMSc footprints. Verify your firearm's slide or mounting plate matches this footprint.
- Select Screws: Use the provided screw sets to find the correct length and thread pitch for your specific firearm model. Each bag is clearly labeled for compatibility (e.g., M3 x 0.5, M4 x 0.7).
- Kupachika:
- Place the Defender-CCW onto the designated mounting area on your firearm's slide or adapter plate.
- Align the screw holes on the sight with those on the firearm.
- Insert the appropriate screws and tighten them evenly using the provided tool. Do not overtighten; refer to your firearm's manual for specific torque specifications if available.
- Ufungaji wa Betri: The Defender-CCW uses a CR1632 battery. The battery compartment is typically located on the side or bottom of the unit. Use the provided tool to open the compartment, insert the battery with the positive (+) side facing up, and secure the cover.
- Ukaguzi wa Awali: Once mounted, ensure the sight is securely attached and does not wobble. Activate the sight to confirm the dot appears.

5. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji
Familiarize yourself with the controls and functions of your Defender-CCW Micro Red Dot Sight.
5.1. Kuwasha/Kuzima na Marekebisho ya Mwangaza
- The Defender-CCW features motion activation. When motion is detected, the red dot will automatically power on.
- To manually adjust brightness, use the large, positive-click buttons located on the sides of the sight. One button increases brightness, and the other decreases it.
- The sight will automatically shut off after 14 hours of no motion to conserve battery life.
5.2. Button Lockout Feature
To prevent accidental adjustments while carrying, the Defender-CCW includes a button lockout feature. Consult the detailed product manual for specific instructions on how to activate and deactivate this feature.
5.3. Windage and Elevation Adjustments
The sight features clearly marked windage and elevation adjustment turrets. Use the provided tool to make precise adjustments for zeroing your sight. Each click typically corresponds to 1 MOA (Minute of Angle) of adjustment.

6. Matengenezo
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Defender-CCW sight.
- Kusafisha Lensi: Use the provided lens cloth to gently wipe the optical surfaces. For stubborn smudges, a small amount of lens cleaning solution designed for optics can be applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Ubadilishaji wa Betri: When the dot dims or fails to illuminate, replace the CR1632 battery. Use the included tool to access the battery compartment. Ensure proper polarity when inserting the new battery.
- Usafishaji wa jumla: Wipe down the exterior of the sight with a soft, damp kitambaa ili kuondoa uchafu na uchafu.
- Hifadhi: Store the sight in a cool, dry place, ideally in its rubber cover, when not in use.
