6. Relocation for Optimal Coverage

After initial setup, you can relocate the extender to optimize Wi-Fi coverage and performance. The ideal location is about halfway between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. The location must be within the range of your host network.

A red or off Signal LED means the extender is not connected to the host router. Ensure the extender is plugged in and within range of your main router. If the issue persists, try resetting the extender to factory defaults and re-configuring it.

8.3. How do I reset the extender to factory defaults?

With the extender powered on, press and hold the WPS/Reset button for approximately 5-8 seconds until the Signal LED blinks rapidly. Release the button and wait for the extender to reboot. All settings will be restored to their factory defaults.

8.4. My extended network is not providing internet access.

Ensure your main router has an active internet connection. Verify that the extender is properly connected to your main router (Signal LED is green or orange). If the issue continues, try restarting both your main router and the extender.
