4. Kuweka na Kuweka
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and longevity of the SaniFos 110. Refer to local plumbing codes and regulations.
4.1 Maandalizi ya Tovuti
- Choose a location that is easily accessible for maintenance and protected from freezing temperatures.
- Ensure the installation surface is level and stable to support the unit's weight when full.
- Provide adequate ventilation around the unit.
4.2 Viunganisho vya mabomba
- Connect all wastewater inlets (e.g., from toilets, sinks, showers) to the designated inlet ports on the unit. Use appropriate seals and fittings to prevent leaks.
- Install the discharge pipe from the unit's outlet to the main sewer line. Ensure the discharge pipe has a non-return valve to prevent backflow.
- Connect the ventilation pipe to a suitable vent stack, ensuring it is free from obstructions.

Figure 4.1: Typical application scenario for the SaniFos 110.
This aerial diagram illustrates a typical installation of the SaniFos 110 lifting station in a residential setting. It shows how the unit can be integrated into a drainage system for a basement bathroom or other areas below the main sewer line, collecting wastewater and pumping it upwards to the main drainage system.
4.3 Muunganisho wa Umeme
- The unit requires a dedicated electrical circuit with appropriate overcurrent protection.
- Hakikisha usambazaji wa umeme unalingana na ujazotage na mzunguko uliobainishwa kwenye lebo ya bidhaa.
- All electrical connections must be made by a licensed electrician and comply with local electrical codes.
5. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji
The SaniFos 110 operates automatically once properly installed and connected to power.
5.1 Uanzishaji wa Awali
- After completing all plumbing and electrical connections, ensure all valves are open and there are no leaks.
- Restore power to the unit. The pump will activate automatically when the water level in the tank reaches the activation point of the float switch.
- Test the unit by running water into the inlets (e.g., flushing a toilet) to ensure the pump activates and discharges correctly.
5.2 Operesheni ya Kawaida
The SaniFos 110 is designed for continuous automatic operation. The pump will turn on when the wastewater level rises and turn off once the level drops below the deactivation point.
Muhimu: Do not dispose of sanitary products, wet wipes, excessive grease, or harsh chemicals into the system, as this can cause blockages or damage to the pump.
6. Matengenezo
Regular maintenance ensures the long-term reliability and performance of your SaniFos 110.
6.1 Ukaguzi wa Kawaida (Kila Mwezi)
- Visually inspect the unit for any signs of leaks or unusual noises during operation.
- Ensure the float switch moves freely and is not obstructed.
- Check for any unusual odors, which might indicate a blockage or ventilation issue.
6.2 Cleaning (Every 3-6 Months, or as needed)
- Tenganisha nguvu kwa kitengo.
- Open the access lid carefully.
- Remove any accumulated debris or foreign objects from the tank. Use gloves and appropriate tools.
- Clean the float switch and its mechanism to ensure free movement.
- Close the lid securely and restore power.
Kumbuka: For thorough cleaning or if blockages persist, it is recommended to contact a qualified service technician.
