Connecting the Cleaner
The PoolVac XL is designed for complete installation in less than 10 minutes. Follow these steps:
- Unbox the pool cleaner and its components.
- Connect the provided 40-foot hose sections to form the full length.
- Attach one end of the hose to the cleaner's inlet.
- Connect the other end of the hose to your pool’s skimmer or a dedicated suction port. Ensure a secure connection to prevent air leaks.
- Place the cleaner into the pool, ensuring it is fully submerged and free of air bubbles.

Once the cleaner is submerged and connected, turn on your pool's pump. The PoolVac XL is hydraulically powered by the pool's suction, so it will begin to move and clean as soon as the pump is active.

AquaPilot Technology
The patented AquaPilot technology enables the cleaner to systematically navigate your pool. It follows a programmed steering sequence that ensures thorough coverage of the entire pool surface, including the floor, walls, and coves, without getting stuck.

Suction Power and Debris Collection
The wide vacuum inlet and unique wing design work together to deliver constant suction power, effectively picking up various types of debris, from small particles to larger leaves. The cleaner is specifically designed with 'shoes' optimized for gunite pool surfaces.

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your PoolVac XL, regular maintenance is crucial. After each use, or as needed, rinse off any residual chlorinated water from the cleaner and its hose. Dry all components thoroughly before storing.

Cleaner Not Moving or Stuck
- Angalia Suction: Ensure your pool pump is running and providing adequate suction. Verify that the hose is securely connected to the skimmer or suction port without air leaks.
- Hose Tangles: Excessive hose length or improper setup can lead to tangling, restricting cleaner movement. Adjust hose length to match pool dimensions.
- Vizuizi: The cleaner may get stuck on large debris or uneven pool surfaces. Manually remove large items from the pool before operating.
Inefficient Cleaning
- Clogs: Inspect the cleaner's inlet and internal components for any debris that might be blocking the suction path.
- Urefu wa Hose: An incorrect hose length can hinder the cleaner's ability to reach all areas of the pool. Ensure the hose is long enough to reach the furthest point of the pool, plus two additional hose sections.
