• Adjustable Leg Loops: Right/Left markings and elastic straps facilitate correct donning.
• Easy Glider Buckles: For stepless adjustment and easy donning/doffing.
• 45 mm Webbing: Classic design for durability.
• Webbing End Stitching: Prevents straps from completely unthreading.
• High-Strength Material Loop: For additional safety.
• RFID Chip Pocket: Small pocket on the waist belt for an RFID chip.

4. Setup and Donning the Harness

1. Fungua na Kagua: Remove the harness from its packaging. Visually inspect all webbing, stitching, buckles, and loops for any signs of wear, cuts, fraying, or damage. Do not use if any damage is found.
2. Identify Leg Loops: The leg loops are marked "Right" and "Left" and feature elastic straps to help maintain their shape. Ensure they are not twisted.
3. Step into Leg Loops: Step into the leg loops, ensuring the waist belt is positioned correctly around your waist, above your hip bones. The belay loop should be centered in front of you.
4. Adjust Waist Belt: Thread the waist belt webbing through the Easy Glider buckle. Pull the webbing firmly to tighten the waist belt until it is snug but comfortable. Ensure there is no slack and that the buckle is securely fastened. The webbing end stitching prevents complete unthreading.
5. Adjust Leg Loops: Use the Easy Glider buckles on the leg loops to adjust their tightness. They should be snug enough to prevent slipping but allow for comfortable movement. Ensure the leg loops are not twisted.
6. Ukaguzi wa Mwisho: Double-check all buckles to ensure they are correctly threaded and tightened. Perform a "buddy check" with another competent climber if possible.

5. Operating the Harness (Usage)

The EDELRID Night-oasis harness is designed for sport climbing, traditional climbing, and other related activities where a Type C harness is appropriate.

Attaching to the Rope:

• Always tie into the harness using a figure-eight follow-through knot or another approved climbing knot, passing through both the waist belt and leg loop tie-in points (the belay loop).
• Ensure the knot is properly dressed and tightened, with a sufficient tail.
• Never tie into only one of the tie-in points.

• Attach your belay device to the belay loop using a locking carabiner.
• Always ensure the carabiner is locked before belaying.
• Follow proper belaying techniques as taught by certified instructors.

Gear Loops and RFID Pocket:

• Use the integrated gear loops for carrying climbing equipment such as quickdraws, cams, and nuts. Do not use gear loops for belaying or tying in.
• The small pocket on the waist belt is designed for storing an RFID chip for equipment management.
