The Grinder & Shaker comes pre-filled, but refilling is simple when needed.

  3. Securely screw the cap back onto the unit.

Refilling Peppercorns

  1. Remove the entire salt chamber from the top of the unit by pulling it upwards.
  2. Pour whole peppercorns into the lower clear chamber.
  3. Align and firmly press the salt chamber back into place until it clicks securely.

Shaking Salt

To dispense salt, simply hold the unit with the salt shaker top facing downwards and shake gently over your food. The pre-drilled holes in the stainless steel cap will release the salt.

Grinding Pepper

  1. Invert the unit so the pepper grinder base is facing downwards.
  2. Twist the salt shaker top (which acts as a knob) to activate the ceramic grinder.
  3. Continue twisting until the desired amount of freshly ground pepper is dispensed.

Adjusting Grind Coarseness

The pepper grinder features a grind-selector at its base, allowing you to choose from 5 different settings, from fine to coarse.

  1. Locate the small lever or indicator at the bottom of the grinder.
  2. Slide the lever to the desired setting. Smaller dots typically indicate a finer grind, while larger dots indicate a coarser grind.
