- Measure the length of your filter head with the attached fittings. Determine the section of your main water line that needs to be removed to accommodate the filter system. Allow for sufficient pipe engagement into the fittings.
- Mark the section of pipe to be removed.
- Using a pipe cutter or hacksaw, carefully cut and remove the marked section of pipe.
- File down any sharp edges or burrs from the cut pipe ends to ensure a smooth connection.
- Install Filter System:
- Position the filter system into the gap in your main water line.
- Push the pipe ends firmly into the quick connect adapters until they hit a hard stop, ensuring full engagement.
- Drill the mounting bracket into your wall using appropriate screws for your wall type (e.g., wood screws for studs, masonry anchors for concrete).

- Ensure the filter cartridge is properly seated over the standpipe at the bottom of the clear housing.
- Carefully screw the clear housing with the filter cartridge into the filter head. Hand-tighten first, then use the provided housing wrench to tighten firmly. Do not overtighten.

- Turn the bypass valve to the "FILTER" position using the housing wrench. It may be stiff the first time.
- Slowly turn on the main water supply to your home.
- Slowly press the red pressure relief button on top of the filter head to release any trapped air.
- Open the nearest faucet and let water run for approximately 10 minutes to flush the filter cartridge and allow the system to depressurize. Some sputtering is normal initially.
- Check all connections for leaks. If leaks occur, turn off water, relieve pressure, and re-tighten connections.

5. Uendeshaji

The system features a built-in bypass valve, allowing you to divert water around the filter for maintenance or if filtered water is not required. The valve has three positions:

- BYPASS: Water bypasses the filter. Use this position when changing the filter or if filtered water is not needed.
- BONYEZA: Water supply to the system is shut off.
To change the valve position, use the provided housing wrench for leverage, as the valve can be stiff.

The filter life indicator is a battery-operated monitor that helps track when your filter cartridge needs replacement. Press the "RESET" button for 2 seconds after each filter change to reset the timer.
