The ZWN-RSM1-PLUS module connects to your existing electrical wiring. It requires connections for Neutral, Hot (Line), Load, and an Auxiliary (Aux) wire for the existing switch. Ensure all connections are secure and follow local electrical codes.

Installation Behind Existing Switch
The compact design of the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS allows it to be installed directly behind your existing wall switch within the junction box. This enables you to retain the aesthetic of your current switches while adding smart control capabilities.

Pairing with a Z-Wave Hub
Once physically installed, the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS needs to be paired with a compatible Z-Wave hub (sold separately). Follow your Z-Wave hub's instructions for adding new devices. Typically, this involves putting the hub into inclusion mode and then activating the pairing sequence on the ZWN-RSM1-PLUS module (refer to the full manual for specific button presses).
