This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your Nokta Waterproof Pinpointer Detector. Please read it thoroughly before operating the device to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
The Nokta Pinpointer is designed for precise metal detection on land and underwater, meeting IP67 standards for water resistance.
2. Kuweka
2.1. Ufungaji wa Betri
The Nokta Pinpointer requires one 9V battery (included). To install the battery:
- Unscrew the battery cap located at the end of the device.
- Connect the 9V battery to the terminals inside the battery compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Carefully slide the battery into the compartment.
- Screw the battery cap back on tightly to ensure a waterproof seal.

3. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji
3.1. Washa/Zima
To turn the device ON, press and hold the power button until you hear a short beep and the LED light illuminates. To turn the device OFF, press and hold the power button until the LED light turns off and you hear a series of beeps.
3.2. Metal Detection
The Nokta Pinpointer detects metal objects using an 11.6 kHz frequency. When the device approaches a metal target, it will provide an alarm through audio, vibration, or both, depending on the selected mode.
3.3. Marekebisho ya Unyeti
The pinpointer features 4 adjustable sensitivity levels. To change the sensitivity, briefly press the power button while the device is ON. Each press cycles through the available sensitivity levels. Higher sensitivity levels increase detection depth but may also increase false signals in mineralized ground.

4. Maintenance and Safety Warnings
- Upinzani wa Maji: The device is designed to meet IP67 standards for water resistance. Ensure the battery cap is tightly secured before using the device in wet conditions or submerging it.

- Kusafisha: After use, especially in saltwater or muddy conditions, rinse the pinpointer with fresh water and wipe it dry.
- Hifadhi: Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Remove the battery if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
