The NetAlly LinkSprinter 300 Pocket Network Tester is designed to quickly verify the functionality of copper Ethernet links and identify errors. This compact device ensures network connectivity status and port information is accurately documented for every link. It performs a comprehensive AutoTest, measuring Power over Ethernet (PoE) voltage, conducting a switch test, confirming DHCP server responsiveness, and verifying connectivity to gateway/router, internal IP services, and cloud resources. Test results can be automatically uploaded and annotated to the secure Link-Live cloud portal, streamlining deployment and troubleshooting tasks for network professionals.

Press and hold the green power button on the front of the device for approximately one second to turn it on. The battery level is indicated by the color of the power icon. The link indicator will flash green when the device is ready to connect.

Performing a Network Test

To initiate a test, simply connect the LinkSprinter to an Ethernet port using a standard RJ45 cable. If Power over Ethernet (PoE) is available, the test will start automatically. If PoE is not detected, press the green power button to begin the test manually.

Link-Live Cloud Service Integration

The LinkSprinter automatically uploads test results to the secure Link-Live cloud portal. This service provides a central database for all your test results, enabling collaboration among IT teams and serving as a valuable reference for future troubleshooting. You can add more details to test results, such as wall jack location or even append photos, via the mobile UI or email.
