Ensure your computer (Laptop or Desktop) is powered on.

Basic Scanning Procedure

Open an application on your computer where you want the scanned data to appear (e.g., a text editor, spreadsheet, or point-of-sale software).
Ensure the cursor is active in the field where you intend to input data.
Point the scanner's imager window at the barcode you wish to scan.
Press and hold the trigger button located on the handle of the scanner. A red aiming beam or illumination will appear.
Position the scanner so that the aiming beam covers the entire barcode. For 2D barcodes, ensure the entire code is within the aiming pattern.
Once the barcode is successfully read, the scanner will emit a confirmation beep and/or the indicator light will flash. The data will then appear in your active application.

2D Imager Capabilities

The SR31T is equipped with a 2D EA31 Imager, allowing it to read a wide range of 1D and 2D barcodes, including QR codes, Data Matrix, and PDF417. This advanced imager provides flexibility for diverse scanning applications.
