2. Kuweka
2.1 Kufungua na Kukagua
Carefully remove the Stabila 36520 level from its packaging. Inspect the level for any signs of damage that may have occurred during shipping. Ensure all components, including the level, protective case, and batteries, are present.

2.2 Ufungaji wa Betri
The Stabila 36520 level requires batteries for operation. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the side or back of the electronic module. Open the compartment, insert the specified batteries (usually AA or AAA, check the compartment for markings) ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.

The digital display shows the angle in various units. Use the mode button to cycle through different measurement modes, such as degrees (°), percent (%), or rise and run. 3.3 Holding Readings
To temporarily hold a reading on the display, press the "Hold" button. This function is useful when you need to move the level but wish to retain the last measured value for reference. Press the "Hold" button again to release the reading and return to live measurement.
3.4 Upside Down Reading
The Stabila 36520 features an automatic display flip function. When the level is inverted (used upside down), the digital display will automatically reorient itself to ensure the numbers are always readable from the user's perspective, eliminating the need to read inverted digits.
3.5 Setting a Reference Angle (0 Degrees)
The level allows you to set any current angle as a new 0-degree reference point. This is particularly useful for measuring relative angles from a non-level surface. Consult the level's specific button layout for the "Set 0" or "Reference" function, typically a dedicated button or a combination press.

Due to its IP65 rating, the Stabila 36520 can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the display or housing. Ensure the level is dry before storing it.

When not in use, store the level in its protective case to prevent damage from impacts or dust. Store in a dry environment, away from extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

The level features a calibration button to ensure accuracy over time. If you suspect the level is not providing accurate readings, refer to the manufacturer's instructions for the specific calibration procedure. This typically involves placing the level on a known flat surface and pressing the calibration button.
