Installation typically requires only a Phillips head screwdriver. Follow these general steps:

Install Interior Turn Piece: Align the interior turn piece assembly with the exterior cylinder. The tailpiece from the exterior cylinder should slide into the slot on the interior assembly. Secure the interior assembly to the exterior assembly using the two long mounting screws. Tighten evenly to prevent binding.

SmartKey Re-keying Procedure

The SmartKey Re-key Technology allows you to re-key your lock to a new Kwikset key in three simple steps:
