When cutting or drilling into walls or ceilings, avoid damaging electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.

Safety guards must be installed if the fan is within 7 feet of the ground, within 7 feet of the working area, or when otherwise advisable for safety.
FGC models are factory-wired with a power cord. If installing an FGC model outdoors, use only on GFCI protected receptacles. Do not use an extension cord with these models.
All appropriate termination accessories (e.g., roof cap, wall cap, louvered shutters) are to be used with this fan.

4. Ufungaji

The Fantech FG series fans are designed for easy installation and can be mounted at any angle, from horizontal to vertical, due to their compact design and straight-through airflow.

5. Wiring

All installation should be wired according to the following diagrams. Failure to comply will cause the motor to hum or not work.

5.1 Wiring with Speed Controller

For models requiring a speed controller, follow the provided wiring diagram carefully. Ensure all connections are secure and correct.

5.2 Wiring without Speed Controller

For models operating without a speed controller, refer to the specific wiring diagram for direct connection. FGC models are factory-wired with a power cord.

6. Uendeshaji

Once properly installed and wired, the Fantech FG 10 fan is ready for operation. Ensure all safety precautions have been followed before powering on the unit. The fan is designed for continuous operation within its specified parameters.

The FG 10 model features 3 power levels and can be controlled remotely. Refer to the remote control instructions (if applicable) for specific operational details.

The Fantech FG 10 fan requires minimal maintenance.

The fan bearings are sealed and pre-lubricated, so no additional lubrication is necessary.
Annually, remove any airborne particles that may have accumulated on the impeller. No other maintenance is typically required.
