2. Taarifa za Usalama na Maonyo
ONYO: Ili kupunguza hatari ya moto, mshtuko wa umeme, au majeraha kwa watu, zingatia yafuatayo:
- Installation work and electrical wiring must be performed by qualified personnel in accordance with all applicable codes and standards, including fire-rated construction.
- Before servicing or cleaning the unit, switch off power at the service panel and lock the service disconnecting means to prevent accidental power activation. If the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning tag.
- Ducting air is essential for proper combustion and exhausting of gases through the flue (chimney) of fuel-burning equipment to prevent back-drafting. Follow heating equipment manufacturer guidelines and safety standards from organizations like the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the American Society for Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), as well as local code authorities.
- When cutting or drilling into walls or ceilings, avoid damaging electrical wiring and other hidden utilities.
- Safety guards must be installed if the fan is within 7 feet of the ground, within 7 feet of the working area, or when otherwise advisable for safety.
- FGC models are factory-wired with a power cord. If installing an FGC model outdoors, use only on GFCI protected receptacles. Do not use an extension cord with these models.
- All appropriate termination accessories (e.g., roof cap, wall cap, louvered shutters) are to be used with this fan.

- Suspending with Hanger Straps: Refer to Illustration 2 for suspension method.
4.2 Muunganisho wa Mfereji
When connecting ductwork, ensure a good seal using duct clamps and duct outlet collars. If using Fantech FG clamps, attach them and insert screws through the clamp ndani ya pembe za pembejeo na nje.
TAHADHARI: Use 1/2" sheet metal screws to secure ductwork to the inlet and outlet. It is critical that screw penetration into the fan housing is no more than 1/2" to avoid damaging the impeller. It may be necessary to shield screws away from the impeller. If not using Fantech FG clamps, use 1/2" screws.

5. Wiring
All installation should be wired according to the following diagrams. Failure to comply will cause the motor to hum or not work.
5.1 Wiring with Speed Controller
For models requiring a speed controller, follow the provided wiring diagram carefully. Ensure all connections are secure and correct.
5.2 Wiring without Speed Controller
For models operating without a speed controller, refer to the specific wiring diagram for direct connection. FGC models are factory-wired with a power cord.

Image 3: This image displays special wiring precautions and diagrams for Fantech FG series fans, including configurations with and without a speed controller. It also includes a table of fan dimensions.
6. Uendeshaji
Once properly installed and wired, the Fantech FG 10 fan is ready for operation. Ensure all safety precautions have been followed before powering on the unit. The fan is designed for continuous operation within its specified parameters.
The FG 10 model features 3 power levels and can be controlled remotely. Refer to the remote control instructions (if applicable) for specific operational details.
7. Matengenezo
The Fantech FG 10 fan requires minimal maintenance.
- The fan bearings are sealed and pre-lubricated, so no additional lubrication is necessary.
