- Ingiza Uchunguzi: Carefully insert the tip of the probe into the thickest part of the food, avoiding bone or gristle. For oven temperature, position the probe tip within the oven cavity, ensuring the cable is not pinched.

- Chagua Kitengo: Bonyeza kwa °F/°C button to toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius display.
- Set Food Temperature Alarm:
- Bonyeza kwa MODE button until "FOOD" is selected.
- Bonyeza kwa NYAMA button to cycle through pre-programmed meat types (e.g., Beef, Pork, Chicken) or press WEKA to manually adjust the target temperature using the HR na MIN vifungo.
- Bonyeza ALERT ON/OFF to activate the alarm. The alarm will sound when the food reaches the set temperature.
- Set Oven Temperature Alarm:
- Bonyeza kwa MODE button until "OVEN" is selected.
- Bonyeza WEKA to manually adjust the target oven temperature using the HR na MIN vifungo.
- Bonyeza ALERT ON/OFF to activate the alarm. The alarm will sound when the oven reaches the set temperature.
