The MP400 features a one-handed opening mechanism for quick access to the pliers and individual tools that lock securely into place for safe operation.

Deploying the Pliers:

  1. Hold the multi-plier firmly with one hand.
  2. With a flick of the wrist, extend the pliers forward until they lock into the open position.
  3. To retract, press the release buttons on either side of the handle and slide the pliers back into the closed position.

Using Individual Tools:

  1. To deploy a tool, grasp the desired tool and pull it outwards from the handle until it clicks into its locked position.
  2. Each tool features a Saf.T.Plus™ locking system, ensuring it remains open and secure during use.
  3. To retract a tool, locate the black slider release mechanism adjacent to the tool's base. Push down on this slider and fold the tool back into the handle until it is fully stowed.
