This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your ET16S transmitter.

2. Kuweka

2.1 Ufungaji wa Betri

The ET16S uses a standard 18650 battery bay. Ensure batteries are inserted with correct polarity.

  1. Open the battery cover located at the bottom rear of the transmitter.
  2. Insert 18650 batteries into the battery holder, observing the polarity markings.
  3. Connect the battery holder to the battery interface inside the compartment.

2.2 External Module Installation

The ET16S features a JR bay expansion slot, supporting various external modules for extended compatibility.

  • The transmitter supports modules such as TBS Crossfire, JP 4 in 1, and FrSky R9M.
  • To install, align the module with the JR bay expansion slot on the rear of the transmitter and gently push until it clicks into place.

2.3 Receiver Port Setting

The output channels of each pin header on the receiver (e.g., RF209 or RF204W) can be customized. Refer to the diagram below for physical sorting of pin header ports and port output channel sequence.

3. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji

3.1 Transmitter Parts Overview

Familiarize yourself with the various parts and controls of your ET16S transmitter:

3.2 Color Touch Screen Interface

The ET16S features an English color touch screen for intuitive operation. Navigate through menus and settings by touching the screen.

3.3 Switch Customization

All switches, rockers, rotary knobs, and keys on the transmitter can be customized. In the corresponding function setting interface, click the setting switch button to freely configure application switches.

3.4 Wireless Copy Function

The ET16S supports wireless transmitting/receiving of model data. This function only supports copying data between transmitters of the same model and version.

3.5 Matangazo ya Sauti

The system provides dynamic real-time voice broadcasts for various parameters, including receiver voltage, ujazo wa betritage, transmitter voltage, timer, and trim location.

3.6 Program Mixes

The ET16S offers 10 sets of program mixes, allowing for user-defined mixes and greater personalization, from ordinary proportional mixing to precise curve mixing.

3.7 Relay Flight

This feature allows two pilots to operate radios for relay flight in the air, with one acting as the main transmitter and the other as the sub-transmitter.

4.1 USB Online Upgrade

The ET16S supports free USB online upgrades for firmware. Connect the transmitter to a Windows PC via USB to perform updates. This feature provides value-added service and ensures your transmitter is always up-to-date.

4.2 Hall Sensor Gimbals

The new Hall Sensor Gimbals offer smoother operation and a longer lifespan due to their non-contact design, which eliminates attrition. This technology also contributes to a better hand feel and prevents fingerprints.
