The OWON SPE Series Programmable DC Power Supply is a single-channel switching power supply designed for a wide range of applications. It features a compact body, high resolution, low ripple and noise, and comprehensive protection mechanisms. This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your device.

5. Kuweka

- Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the OFF position.
- Connect the provided power cord to the power cord socket on the rear panel.

5.2 Output Terminal Connection
- Connect the red test lead to the red (+) output terminal and the black test lead to the black (-) output terminal.
- Connect the other ends of the test leads to your load. Ensure correct polarity.
- For safety, ensure all connections are secure before powering on the device or enabling output.
5.3 USB Connection (for PC Programming)
- Connect a USB cable from the USB Device communication port on the rear panel to your computer.
- Install the necessary drivers and software provided by OWON for PC programming and SCPI communication.
6. Maagizo ya Uendeshaji
6.1 Operesheni ya Msingi

6.2 Constant Power Design
The SPE series features a constant power design, allowing for a wide application range by providing flexible configuration of higher voltage or larger current within the rated power range. For example, a 300W power supply can deliver 30V/10A or 60V/5A.

6.3 Pato Voltage and Current Curve Monitoring
The device can monitor and display the readback voltage and current situation over a period of time, which is useful for applications like battery charging, aging tests, and phone repair.
- Press the 'Display' button to switch to the curve monitoring interface.
- Observe the real-time voltage and current curves on the 2.8-inch TFT LCD.

6.4 Memory Shortcut Parameters
The device allows you to save and quickly recall up to 4 groups of frequently used settings.
- Press the 'Memory' key to enter the memory settings interface.
- Use the 'V', 'I', 'OVP', 'OCP' keys and the adjustment knob to set the desired parameters for each memory group (M1-M4).
- After setting, long press the knob to output the setting value.
6.5 List Waveform Editing Timing Output
The device supports editing and outputting up to 10 groups of list waveforms with timing control.
- Long press the 'Memory' key to enter the list waveform editing interface.
- Use the 'V', 'I', 'OVP', 'OCP' keys and the adjustment knob to set the voltage, current, and timing for each step (1-10).
- After setting the current group, wait for 1 second before selecting other groups for setting.
- After setting all groups, long press the knob to enable the waveform output. A prompt will be displayed at the upper right of the screen.
6.6 Zaidi ya Juztage Protection (OVP) and Over Current Protection (OCP)
These features protect your circuit from damage due to excessive voltage au ya sasa.
- Press the 'OVP' button to set the overvoltage protection limit. Use the adjustment knob to set the value.

6.7 Juztage (CV) / Constant Current (CC) Mode
The power supply intelligently switches between Constant Voltage (CV) and Constant Current (CC) modes to effectively protect the circuit.
- CV Mode: Pato voltage remains constant at the set value, while the current varies depending on the load.
- Njia ya CC: The output current remains constant at the set value, while the voltage varies depending on the load.
- When the actual current exceeds the preset current value, the power supply automatically switches to CC mode to protect the circuit.
7. Matengenezo

8. Utatuzi wa shida
8.1 Hakuna Nguvu

- Ensure the power switch on the rear panel is in the 'ON' position.

- Check the fuse on the rear panel. If blown, replace it with a new one of the correct rating.
8.2 No Output
- Ensure the 'On/Off' button on the front panel is pressed to enable output.
- Check if OVP or OCP is triggered. Adjust the limits or clear the fault condition.
- Verify that the output terminals are correctly connected to the load.

8.3 Unstable Output
- Check for loose connections in the output circuit.
- Ensure the load is within the specified operating range of the power supply.
- Verify that the ambient temperature is within the operating range (0-40°C).

- Utilize the memory function to quickly switch between frequently used voltage and current settings for different projects.

- The curve monitoring function is excellent for observing transient behavior or battery charging cycles.
