5.1 Mounting the Digital Readout (DRO) Display

  1. Choose a suitable location on your machine tool that provides clear visibility and easy access to the keyboard, away from excessive vibration or heat.
  2. Use appropriate mounting brackets (included in the accessory set) to secure the DRO display unit. Ensure it is firmly attached to prevent movement during operation.

5.2 Mounting the Linear Scales

The linear scales are designed for precise measurement along the axes of your machine. The mounting accessory set includes various brackets and hardware to facilitate installation.

  1. Identify the appropriate linear scale for each axis (250mm for shorter travel, 1000mm for longer travel).
  2. Attach the linear scales to the machine tool's moving parts using the provided brackets and screws. Ensure the scales are parallel to the axis of motion and securely fastened.
  3. The scales feature slotted end blocks for easier mounting and adjustment.
  4. Install the guard plate over the linear scale to protect it from chips, coolant, and other debris.

5.3 Kuunganisha Mfumo

The system uses standard 3-meter signal cables for connecting the linear scales to the DRO display unit.

  1. Connect the signal cable from each linear scale to the corresponding input port (X, Y, Z) on the back of the DRO display unit.
  2. Ensure the connectors are fully seated and secured. The cables are protected by multi-layer shielded wire steel and a soft metal shell for durability and anti-interference.
  3. Connect the power cable to the DRO unit and then to a suitable power outlet.
