7. Utatuzi wa shida

TatizoUfumbuzi
Haifanyi kazi
  1. Hatua ya 1: Angalia Chanzo cha Nguvu
Charging: Please charge the battery using the original charger for at least 4-6 hours. Installation: Ensure the battery is correctly and firmly installed, with the metal contacts aligned properly.
  2. Step 2: Check the Power Switch
Locate the power/volume knob on the side. Turn it clockwise until you hear a "click" and see the screen or indicator light turn on.
  3. Step 3: Check the Antenna
Ensure the antenna is securely screwed on clockwise until it stops. A loose antenna can prevent the walkie-talkie from functioning correctly.
  4. Ikiwa suala litaendelea:
Master Reset: Perform a "Factory Reset" (see your user manual for specific instructions). This clears any incorrect settings that may be causing the walkie-talkie to "freeze."
Warning: This will erase all your custom settings and restore the walkie-talkie to its original factory state.
Will not take programming
  1. Step 1: Check the Connection & Drivers
Ensure the programming cable is firmly connected to both the walkie-talkie and the computer. Confirm that the correct USB drivers for the programming cable are installed on your computer (available on the manufacturer's webtovuti).
  2. Step 2: Check the Programming Software
Verify that you are using the latest programming software specifically designed for your exact walkie-talkie model, downloaded from the official website. Open the programming software after the walkie-talkie is connected to the computer.
  3. Step 3: Check the Walkie-Talkie's State
Ensure the walkie-talkie is turned ON when connected to the computer for programming.
  4. Kidokezo cha Pro:
Before using the software, try manually programming a channel using the walkie-talkie's keypad. If this works, the issue is likely with the computer connection (cable, driver, or software).
Kept cutting out (Audio is choppy or drops)
  1. This is often related to signal strength and settings:
  2. Step 1: Check battery level
Please use a fully charged battery. Low power significantly reduces transmission strength and causes dropouts.
  3. Step 2: Check the noise level settings
Access the menu and find the "Squelch" or "SQL" setting. If set too high (e.g., level 5 or above), it will filter out weaker signals. We recommend gradually lowering the squelch level (to level 2 or 3) until you can hear a steady background static hiss.
  4. Step 3: Check the tone codes (CTCSS/DCS)
Confirm that your walkie-talkie and your partner's walkie-talkie are on the same channel AND have the exact same CTCSS or DCS tone settings (or both are set to "OFF"). Mismatched tones are a common cause of one party hearing broken audio or nothing at all.
It doesn't receive signals properly
  1. Angalia Antena: Ensure the antenna is tightened and undamaged. This is the most common cause of the problem.
  2. Mpangilio wa Kubonyeza: A squelch level set too high will prevent the walkie-talkie from receiving weak signals. Gradually decrease the squelch level until you can stably receive background noise.
  3. Channel and Sub-tone Code Confirmation: Ensure that the channel and sub-tone code you are listening on are exactly the same as the transmitter's.
