Taking a Temperature Measurement:

  2. Press and hold the trigger. The current temperature will be displayed instantly on the screen.
  3. Release the trigger to activate the data retention (HOLD) function, freezing the measurement on the screen for easier reading.

Adjusting Emissivity (ε):

Emissivity (ε) is a critical factor for accurate non-contact temperature measurement, as different materials emit infrared energy differently. The IR02A allows adjustment from 0.1 to 1.0, with a default setting of 0.95, suitable for most organic materials and painted surfaces.
