The Lepow Z1-Black 15.6-inch portable monitor is designed to enhance your viewing experience with its Full HD 1080P IPS display. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, connecting, operating, and maintaining your Lepow portable monitor to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

4. Kuweka

4.1 Applying the Screen Protector

The Lepow portable monitor comes with a pre-applied screen protector from the factory. No additional screen protector is provided or needed. If you wish to replace it, follow these general steps:

  1. Clean the screen thoroughly with the provided wipes (wipe 1 for wet cleaning, wipe 2 for drying).
  2. Use a dust absorber sticker to remove any remaining dust particles.
  3. Carefully align the new screen protector with the edge of the monitor and slowly apply it, smoothing out any bubbles.

4.2 Using the Smart Cover as a Stand

The smart cover is designed to function as a protective case and a stable stand. Simply bend the cover to magnetically attach it to the back of the monitor, creating a triangular support. The cover allows for multiple viewing angles by adjusting its folds.

5. Muunganisho

The Lepow portable monitor offers flexible connectivity options. Ensure the monitor is powered on before connecting to your device.

5.1 Connecting to a Laptop/PC

Kwa kutumia USB-C: If your laptop/PC has a full-featured USB-C 3.1 port (which supports both video and power), connect the monitor using the provided Type-C to Type-C cable. This single cable can provide both power and video signal.

Kutumia HDMI: Connect the provided HDMI to Mini HDMI cable from your laptop/PC's HDMI port to the monitor's Mini HDMI port. When using HDMI, an external power supply (5V/3A or above) is required for the monitor. Connect the USB-A to Type-C power supply cable from a power source (e.g., wall charger, laptop USB-A port) to the monitor's power-only Type-C port.

5.2 Connecting to a Smartphone

Only phones with a fully functional USB-C 3.1 port can directly connect to the monitor using the Type-C to Type-C cable for both video and power. For iPhones, a Lightning to HDMI adapter is required, along with an external power supply for the monitor.

Connect gaming consoles (PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch) using the HDMI to Mini HDMI cable. An external power supply is required for the monitor when using HDMI with gaming consoles.

6.1 Display Modes (Extend, Duplicate, Second Screen Only)

After connecting your device, you can configure the display mode through your operating system's display settings:

6.2 Menyu ya Onyesho la Skrini (OSD).

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various settings of the monitor. Use the physical buttons on the side of the monitor to navigate:

  • Volume/Up Button: Adjusts audio volume or navigates up in the menu.
  • Brightness/Down Button: Adjusts screen brightness or navigates down in the menu.
  • Menu/Confirm/ESC Button: Press to open the OSD menu, confirm a selection, or exit a menu.

6.3 Screen Orientation (Landscape/Portrait)

You can change the display orientation between landscape and portrait modes through your connected device's display settings. Note that some PCs may not support automatic orientation changes.

To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe the surface with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn stains, a mild screen cleaner specifically designed for electronics can be used. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the screen.

When not in use, store the monitor in its smart cover to protect it from dust, scratches, and minor impacts. Avoid placing heavy objects on top of the monitor.

  • No Signal/Display: Ensure all cables (USB-C, HDMI, power) are securely connected. Verify that the correct input source is selected on the monitor and that your connected device's display settings are configured to output to the external monitor.
